Alltech is going for round two, hosting one of the region’s largest craft beer and food festivals, featuring hundreds of craft brews from Kentucky and across the nation. Special tappings will occur every 15 minutes, featuring a specialty brew from each brewery. New this year, a craft spirits bar will feature local and regional craft spirits. Local food samples and meals will be available.
The festival will also feature the second Alltech Commonwealth Craft Beer Cup and live entertainment. The Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fest will serve as one of the culminating events for the Third Annual Lexington Craft Beer Week May 9-16, a celebration of Lexington’s craft beer culture and best brews, and is also part of the Alltech REBELation Week May 16-20.
Local and national breweries, distilleries and food vendors will showcase their finest to the public. Local craft brewers will showcase their best, with limited edition specialty and collaboration beers.
North Coast Brewing, New Belgium, Uinta, Apocalypse, West Sixth, Falls City and more are already on tap, with many top breweries to be announced in the upcoming weeks.
Saturday, May 16, 2015, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. EDT.
